Exhibition DisplayThe 2009 Cardigan Photo Club Exhibition can be hailed a great success.

Total attendance throughout the two weeks was 1172 people most of whom made very good comments about the high standard of photographs and presentation. Many of the photographs were changed midway through the exhibition to provide variety for the second week, and several people returned to see the new pics.

We had two people pay their membership subs to the end of the year, and several more were interested in the club and took information away with them with a view to joining.

A large number of members donated prints which were sold with the proceeds going to club funds to cover the cost of the exhibition.

Cardigan have won back the New Quay cup.  We came first ahead of New Quay and Aberystwyth,  judge Harry Gardener gave us excellent critique of our images and mounting techniques and was also very entertaining.   The competition was very close for the first half and then Cardigan took the lead in the second half.

The final scores were

Cardigan         264

New Quay      252

Aberystwyth   249

Mike Wadley was our top scorer with a 20 for his Winter Morning (aka Castle in the Mist), well done Mike, that makes up for Carmarthen!.  We also had 5 prints scoring 19 which is excellent,  thanks to everyone who entered prints.   Individual scores are below.
